Also updated a previous post I posted on with these instructions please use this thread for any updates on if this works. At some requests, worked on a version that should support xbox one controller (actually had one to test). I know it is a hassle but sometimes it is worth the effort till Apple, and Steam work out the new MacOS controller api. Granted this is only my experience with a single controller based game (Rogue Legacy 1 which I bought years ago while still windows/linux based and never played till now). Start game and see if the controller works. This should re-register the controller and hopefully only get one message from steam regarding a xbox controller (not 360).Ĩ. Navigate back to Steam->Preferences->Controller->General Controller Settings-> and check Xbox Configuration support. You may notice multiple Xbox controllers (in my case xbox360 controllers which had never been connected to this M1 Max). Navigate to, Steam->Preferences->Controller->General Controller Settings-> and uncheck Xbox Configuration support. Turn off Xbox Configuration Support in steam If the controller does not work, close the game and follow below instructions.Ħ. If the controller works then enjoy, but it may lose sync and and you may need to follow these steps again.ī. Right Click on game->Properties->Controller-Disable Steam InputĪ. This will register the controller with steam and may generate multiple controllers as being registered (in my case xbox 360 controllers), I have no idea how to stop this after starting/rebooting steam. Steam->Preferences->Controller->General Controller Settings->XBox Configuration Support Turn on Xbox Configuration Support in steam Pair Xbox s/x controller with mac via BlueToothģ. I can only limit my experience to Rogue Legacy 1, but I seem to have found an almost consistent way to get my Xbox series x/s controller to work via Bluetooth.Ģ. This seems to be a known issue and from what I have read no currently known way to use USB.
